Emily and Jay chose the beautiful Tampa Yacht and Country Club for their Spring wedding by the water. The whole day was full of warm hugs and laughter because everyone there was so excited for these two.
I knew from my first session with Emily and Jay that this wedding day would be one of my favorites. Both of them are fun, warm and kind and together they are so genuinely in love. Literally a perfect match!
The decor was elegantly planned with greenery and beautiful touches of well thought out details. One of my very favorite things was the carved names of each of the bridal party at the head table. The pairing of lush florals, soft candlelight, rustic chairs and metallic chargers was so pretty. The whole wedding was overflowing with charm just like Emily.
The color palette was lovely with pops of spring hues throughout. The bridesmaids all looked stunning in unique dresses that flattered each of them flawlessly. Emily was a vision of beauty in a custom designed gown that flowed as she walked. The lace bodice was amazing with gorgeous scalloping and an open back. Her chapel length veil added the perfect finishing detail to her absolutely amazing gown.
The grooms crew didn’t disappoint in gray suits and simple details that fit the wedding theme perfectly. This group was literally straight out of a bridal magazine and so much fun to shoot with!!
A few unforgettable moments to do touch ups, get dressed, exchange gifts and read love letters and we were off to do first looks!
All my couples know that I love first looks and this wedding had three! First with the brides tribe of ladies, second with the father of the bride and third with bride and groom. Each moment was amazing and it reaffirmed that I am a super big sucker for all things pretty and filled with love and surprise!
The ceremony was happy and lighthearted and full of celebration. After that, a dinner with thoughtful and funny toasts followed and laughter filled the room. I wasn’t the least bit surprised that when DJ Fresh opened up the dance floor it filled up instantly. The party was so fun with everyone dancing and singing while we snapped smile after smile!
As we headed into the night the party went on and we slipped out for a fun sparkler exit. I have to say this was one of my favorite weddings and I am so happy to have been there to see Emily and Jay say “I Do”.
Congratulations to the happy couple!! Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
